After hours of editing and re-editing, I have finally completed a version of Part One of “The Most Important Thing” that I can live with. The first and third scenes came naturally; for some odd reason, I could not decide how I wanted to bring Danie across. In past stories, she has been wild, brash, and candid (and fiery, for lack of a better description), and while I wanted to keep some of those attributes, I wanted to show her getting older. When I first stated writing, Danie and Co. averaged about 24 years old; now they are closer to thirty and their actions have to show that. My babies are growing up… *sniff*
Anyhow, you are only going to meet Moira-Selene, Kane, and Danie for now. The rest of the Nine will be introduced in some manner in Parts Two and Three.
